In this exercise students will understand the poster and practice to design it

What is a Poster?

Poster is a temporary or short term advertising / promotional graphic product to spread awareness about any Product , Services Event or Cause.

Sizes of Poster

Posters can be designed in different sizes. But few sizes are common.

Tiny Poster 1 : Width- 8.5 inches | Height 11 inches (Letter Paper)
Tiny Poster 2: Width- 8.2 inches | Height 11.6 inches (A4 Paper)
Small Poster 1 : Width- 11 inches | Height 17 inches (Tabloid Paper)
Small Poster 2: Width- 12 inches | Height 18 inches
Medium Poster : Width- 18 inches | Height 24 inches
Large Poster 1 : Width- 24 inches | Height 36 inches
Large Poster 2: Width- 27 inches | Height 39 inches
