Practice Levels Adjustments

Underexposed Image - Low Light

An image that has a low light or seems to be dark is called under exposed image. So in order to add light in the image, Levels needs to be adjusted.

Overxposed Image - Too Much Light

An image that has extra light or seems to be more bright is called over exposed image. So in order to remove the light in the image, Levels needs to be adjusted.

Balanced Image (Bring To Life)

Sometime image seems balanced (Normal), but is a kind of dull and out of life. In order to bring life to the image or make it stand out, levels needs to be adjusted.

Hue / Saturation

Hue is referd to the range of colors and Saturation means the intensity of the color. So Using hue saturation options specific colors in the image can be changed.

Color Balancing

Color Balancing is used to balance the colors in the image. Sometimes the image has more amount of a specific color, i.e red. So in this case it make the image red dominant. So in order to reduce/ offset  the amount of red , we will have to increase the amount of Cyan color, which can be done through color Balancing Option. Look at the images below. These are Blue dominant.
