In this Exercise Students will practice to understand the importance of path finder panel for shapes building

Path Finder

  1. Unite: This option combines all the overlapping shapes
  2. Minus Front : This options Minus the front shape area from the back shape.
  3. Intersect: This option Keeps the intersecting paths /areas of two overlapping shapes and deletes the rest.
  4. Exclude: This option removes the overlapping paths /areas of  shapes and keeps the rest. This option works opposite as intersect does.
  5. Divide: This options  divides the intersecting areas and convert them into separate shapes.
  6. Trim: This option trims the back shape using the front shape as base or reference.
  7. Merge: This option unites the shape which has same color.
  8. Crop: This option crops the back shape(s) using the front shape as reference/base
  9. Outline: This option converts any filled shapes into outlines. If shapes are intersecting, outline will be timed into separate paths.
  10. Minus Back: Works opposite of minus front.
