In this exercise Students will practice and understand the Purpose of Types Tools.

Type Tool

Type tool is the basic tool to write horizontal text. It works same as Photoshop's type tool.



Area Type Tool

This type tool is used to write / type text within an area (shape) as you can see in the exercise below.


Type on a Path Tool

This type tool helps to write text on a path.



Touch Type Tool

This type tool is used to Modify the existing text. With the help of this tool we can

  1. Select a single letter with a text string
  2. Delete the selected letter.
  3. Scale up / down the letter
  4. Rotate the selected letter
  5. Move the selected letter.
  6. Change the color of the selected letter
